Listening Post is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk about anything that’s on your mind and our volunteers will listen – with empathy and without judgement. It’s a sharing space where one can share their stories so as to unburden themselves, feel peaceful and move towards resolution.
It’s soothing to talk about experiences, desires, challenges, and issues to another trusted individual. What about talking feels so good? Why is it that one feels calmer and more centred when someone listens carefully and mindfully to everything one has to say?
With current Covid-19 situation, lock-down challenges, loss of productivity, social isolation, care-giving stress, uncertainties of future…all add to our stress and anxiety. Stress, uncertainty, WFH, they all take a toll on your mental well-being. While we slowly return to our new normal and adjust to it, we have an uphill task of not letting it take a toll on our mental health.
Speak to our volunteers on the phone to relieve stress, seek clarity and become calm and confident about the future. This is completely confidential, and anonymity will be maintained.
Call on 93733 39162 between 5:30 pm to 8 pm to talk to our Listening Post volunteers. This service is available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
