If Mohammed cannot go the mountain, the Mountain must go to Mohammed. Our programmes have to reach the people it is intended for. Not everyone can come to the Centre or join online/ or call. It is important that we feel enabled to take our programmes to Community spaces and be able to run it successfully in a sustained manner. In the past few years, we have taken our programmes to a few places (one-offs) and we have had a very good response to them in various spaces. We have taken Listening Post to the Family Court (suspended because of Covid) and a few Corporates as a trial programme. Our Smartphone Assistance programme too has been very popular in a few senior homes that we have taken it to. This effort needs sustained capacity building and the ability to confidently take on more and more such mini SHBs in various places, where it is critically required. Needless to say, it will help us reach more people.
