Unwind with Nature
Tanya Ginwala is a narrative therapy practitioner, experiential educator and trained Clinical Psychologist (M.A., SNDT Women's University, Pune). With Nature as her co-therapist, she enjoys facilitating therapeutic outdoor adventure experiences for people to experience and know themselves in ways that open up new possibilities in their lives. She strongly believes that people are the experts of their own lives, and that her role as a therapist is to collaborate with people in identifying skills, competencies, hopes, beliefs, values, commitments and abilities that will assist them to reduce the influence of the problem in their lives. With prior professional experience ranging from rehabilitation for alcohol and drug abuse to facilitation transformation inclusive adventure experiences for persons with and without disability, she is most passionate about working with teenagers and young adults. She facilitates indoor and outdoor therapy sessions for individuals as well as groups. She currently is the Indian representative at the International Adventure Therapy Committee. In her free time, Tanya enjoys visiting the hills around Pune with her dog, listening to music, catching up with friends and reading.
